Sunday Worship Online @ Christ Lutheran Church
March 29th:  "Give Us Today Our Daily Bread"

When we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we pray for God’s will to be done. But what does that look like? And how do we know what God’s will is? In these confusing times this petition in the Lord’s Prayer is deeply important for us to pray. Join us for eWorship Services this week, as we gather on-line to continue our Lenten theme of The Best Prayer Ever! and look at the third petition, “Give Us Today Our Daily Bread”

Traditional Service

Sundays at 8:00 a.m.

Much changes. Much remains the same. Both of these statements describe Christian worship at any time in its two thousand year history. The worshipers change; this is obvious. Beyond this, musical expression, artwork, language, dress, and theology will change. On the other hand, much remains the same. Translations change, yet we still read from the Bible.

Instrumentation may change, but we still sing together as God’s people.
Made in the image of God, we continue to create works of art that enrich worship. We are joined to Christ’s body in the waters of Baptism; we receive his body and blood in Holy Communion. We pray. We are sent forth in mission. In worship at all times and in all places, the one unifying constant is the presence of Jesus Christ in word and sacrament.

Contemporary "Christ Song" Service

Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

CLC has joined a number of churches that follow contemporary worship models and are rethinking the form or structure for local worship services, looking for imaginative ways to make worship more balanced and meaningful.

There is great value in remembering and following the pattern for Christian worship presented in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. The biblically informed pattern of Gathering, Word, Meal, and Sending provides a foundation for imaginative expression.
The gathering itself of the community, the word proclaimed and received, the meal shared, and the sending into the world—all of this is God’s mission and supports God’s mission in the world.

CLC's Contempory "Christ Song" Worship, relies heavily on Praise Music and involves all in celebrating gods word through music.  Feel the love from God, and those who make up your faith community.

Contemporary "Worship Cafe" Service

Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

CLC has created an innovative, more relaxed contemporary worship setting which incorporates much of the same music one experiences during our "Christ Song" Service, and adds a new dimension of community.  Many share their "God" Stories, often referred as Kairos Moments.  In addition, Worship is conducted in our CCC, Community Connection Center, where seating is designed to encourage sharing of thoughts and stories about faith.
